Al-Nassr has announced a kit supply deal with sportswear giants Nike for the 2023-24 season, which will begin during the club's Japan tour at the end of July.

The Riyadh-based club boasts one of the greatest players of all time in their squad, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo has been sponsored by Nike since 2003, and the Beaverton-based company signed the Portuguese superstar to a lifetime deal worth $1 billion in 2016.

This could be one of the reasons Nike decided to outfit Al-Nassr, as it probably does want to see one of its biggest athletes sporting a jersey made by a different brand.

Saudi Arabian sportswear brand Duneus is currently the team's kit supplier until Nike's deal starts.

Al-Nassr Announces New Main Shirt Sponsor

The club also announced a new shirt sponsor, with state-owned King Abdullah Financial District Development (KAFD) set to appear in front of the club's signature blue-and-yellow shirts for the next three seasons.

KAFD is a mixed-use financial district located at the heart of the country's capital Riyadh. The district began construction in 2006, consisting of over 80 buildings, of which 61 are towers.

The project recently kicked off, and that's why they are looking to gain publicity by having one of the most popular athletes in the world regularly wear a shirt that bears the district's logo.

Saudi Arabian real estate development company Shurfah was the previous main shirt sponsor of the club.
