The season MVP is not the only thing Victor Wembanyama will try to steal from Giannis Antetokounmpo, but even the title as the league's most philosophical player.

Both are tagged as unicorns, and in a recent media appearance of the projected 2023 no.1 draft pick, Antetokounmpo might have to watch out because Wembanyama can dish out profound outlooks in life.

JJ Redick teased a preview of the much-awaited new episode of his podcast The Old Man & The Three, and there, fans can see that even his mindset is already mature and in its prime.

"I know I'm never going to turn like this. I'm never going to lose a grasp on reality," Wembanyama started when asked by the host about his totem in life to prevent losing some sense of reality.

"I know what I want. I'm driven from the inside of my heart like nothing can put me out of my path."

Reaching Enlightenment in One Sitting

Things got more profound when the expected San Antonio Spurs no.1 pick started talking about his life outside of basketball, the universe, and freedom.

"My totem is something bigger than basketball. It's just life. It's just accomplishing yourself inside this universe.

"And when I need motivation. When I need energy when I feel tired out and it's hard... I always remember I'm free in that universe."

Redick and co-host were left in awe and sighed a "F***, man!" One even hilariously commented that he reached enlightenment with such an explanation of a simple question.

Such maturity is crucial for Wembanyama, who is probably the most hyped draft prospect since Lebron James in 2003. He said he would come to the league to win a championship as soon as possible. The good thing for him is that he will be guided by Gregg Popovich, one of the best coaches in NBA history.
