The Chicago Bulls are focusing on Zach LaVine's future with the team as they enter the NBA Draft on Thursday. The franchise is reportedly weighing if they would deal their leading scorer or not, according to Bulls insider KC Johnson.
The Bulls are set to make a difficult decision when the right offer arrives, but they have named their asking price for the two-time All-Star.
The ideal haul to acquire LaVine is a talented young player, multiple 1st round draft picks, and salary fillers to make the deal work.
The team failed to make the playoffs this season, losing to the Miami Heat in the play-in tournament despite their stars LaVine and DeMar DeRozan staying healthy.
However, point guard Lonzo Ball has not played a game since January 2022 due to recurring knee issues, and the Bulls believe he may not return to play for them again.

Zach Lavine Recently Signs Max Contract
LaVine just finished the first season of a five-year max contract he signed in July 2022 worth $215 million.
Any team that would acquire the 28-year-old star will secure his services for the next three seasons, as the final year would be a player option with nearly $49 million in salary.
LaVine was named an All-Star in 2021 and 2022 and notably won the Slam Dunk Contest in 2015 and 2016 while he was with the Timberwolves.
He arrived in Chicago in 2017 as part of the deal that separated Jimmy Butler from the team.
