Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon is proud of the work that he has done this postseason, having defended the league's best players in Karl Anthony-Towns, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, and Jimmy Butler.
"I’m definitely gonna be sitting in my rocking chair when I’m 79 or 90 years old and talking to my kids about ‘yeah, back in the day, I locked these guys up.’"

"I'm definitely gonna be sitting in my rocking chair when I'm 79 or 90 years old and talking to my kids about 'yeah, back in the day, I locked these guys up," Gordon said, referring to the matchups he's faced these playoffs.
Winning a championship ring would be the cherry on top of the cake for the 27-year-old. He has been hailed as an unsung hero for helping the Nuggets in this deep playoff run.

Aaron Gordon: Underrated Hero for Denver Nuggets
Denver acquired Gordon in a midseason trade in March 2021.
Before this year's playoff run, he was best known for being runner-up in two Slam Dunk Contests, despite performing some of the best dunks the competition has ever seen.
The Nuggets signed Gordon to a four-year, $92 million extension in September 2021. Since then, he has been an integral part of a championship-contending team, sacrificing personal stardom.
However, the 6-foot-8 high flyer does not mind.
Nikola Jokic has praised him for accepting his role, calling it the best thing he has ever done.
Aside from his role in the defensive end, Gordon has become the perfect rim-runner for Jokic's incredible passing abilities, resulting in easy baskets.
