Free agent wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has been subject to interest from multiple NFL teams, including the New England Patriots.

The five-time Pro Bowl selection was released by the Arizona Cardinals last week, after three seasons of playing with the team, due to being unable to find a suitable trade partner, according to an article by ESPN.

The New England Patriots have shown interest in signing the wide receiver, per ESPN's Dianna Russini. However, Patriots coach Bill Belichick did not give any clue regarding the matter.

"I'm not going to comment on players that aren't on this team," the general manager and coach of the Patriots said.

DeAndre Hopkins Might Return to the Houston Texans

The 30-year-old is still weighing his options but has shown interest in a potential return to the Houston Texans, where he spent his first seven seasons in the NFL, per the Houston Chronicle.

USA Today's John Crumpler reported that Hopkins visited the Houston Texans while he was in the city last week.

The Texans could use some depth in the wide receiver position after trading away Brandin Cooks to the Dallas Cowboys last March.

The three-time First Team All-Pro will undoubtedly be on a free agency tour in the coming weeks to finalize his decision, with several teams showing interest, including the New York Jets, Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, and Tennessee Titans.
