Martial has scored six goals and provided two assists in 21 appearances in the Premier League this season.
Manchester United signed the French forward in 2015 for an initial fee of $44.5 million. He was the recipient of the 2015 Golden Boy Award, an honor given to the best under-21 player in Europe.
He was loaned to La Liga club Sevilla in January 2022; and scored his only goal in 12 appearances for the club in the Europa League.
Martial returned to Manchester before the start of the 2022-23 season.
Manchester United will be looking to win their second trophy of the season, having won the EFL Cup last February.
Meanwhile, Manchester City is looking to add the FA Cup trophy to the Premier League title they recently won and the potential Champions League trophy where they will be facing off against Inter Milan in the continental tournament's final on June 10 in Istanbul.
