Before the Boston Celtics became the fourth team to force a Game 7 after being down 0-3 in the series, stars Jaylen Brown and Kyle Lowry got into a heated exchange after the latter's hard foul on the two-time All-Star.

The Boston Celtics saved their season in the nick of time via a Derrick White tip-in to steal Game 6 and force a Game 7 against the Miami Heat, 104-103, in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Kyle Lowry Commits Hard Foul on Jaylen Brown

Early in the second quarter of the pivotal Game 6, Lowry committed a foul on Brown under the basket.

Brown was unhappy with the level of contact in the play, urging Lowry to relax, and called him a dirty player with some expletives.

The Celtics star also asked the referee to review the play, accusing Lowry of always instigating and attempting to break his arm.

The former Raptor responded to Brown, saying he was only trying to foul him. Brown answered, "You do that all the time. Watch yourself."

The TNT announcers, particularly Reggie Miller, recognized that Brown took offense at the excessive physical contact with Lowry.

The Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat will battle it out in the winner-takes-all Game 7 in the Eastern Conference Finals at the TD Garden in Boston.

The winner of that game will face the well-rested Denver Nuggets in the 2023 NBA Finals.
