Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie and Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma got into a highly publicized feud last January, with both sides not holding back their words against each other.
The two started to trade shots when Dinwiddie mentioned in a post-game interview after a Mavs-Wizards game last January that the Wizards are playing like "a showcase" and do not play winning hoops.
Kuzma took offense to his comment and tweeted that it is the Mavericks who do not play winning basketball.
Since then, the two have taken turns responding to each other via tweets and interviews, as per CBS Sports and ClutchPoints.
Kuzma and Dinwiddie were teammates in the Washington Wizards from 2021 to 2022 before Dinwiddie was moved to the Mavericks in a trade involving Kristaps Porzingis. Dinwiddie was playing for the Mavs when the feud sparked.
Dinwiddie found himself in the trading block again when he was shipped out to the Nets in the deal that sent Kyrie Irving to the Mavericks in February 2023.
Spencer Dinwiddie Calls Out Kyle Kuzma's Priorities
The latest response in the feud came from Dinwiddie, who spoke on a recent episode of former Wizards star Gilbert Arenas' podcast.
The 30-year-old guard mentioned that while he respects Kuzma's talent level, he does not hold his priorities in high regard.
Dinwiddie also stated that Kuzma could have been hurt by his comments, and he never once said anything bad about the former Laker's on-court abilities.
Kuzma famously wrote a whole Twitter thread dissing his former teammate last April.
