Tom Brady in Talks About Raiders ownership
Brady, widely regarded as the greatest quarterback of all time, is set to foray into NFL team ownership once the deal goes through.
This will mark the second time the five-time Super Bowl MVP will invest in a team primarily owned by Raiders controlling owner Mark Davis, following Brady's purchase of a minority stake in WNBA franchise Las Vegas Aces last March.

Brady's investment with the Raiders is expected to be "passive," meaning he would not have any operational control or authority over the franchise in business or football matters.
At least 24 current NFL team owners would have to approve Brady's limited partnership once Davis and Brady agree to terms for the deal to be official. This is standard procedure for all minority and majority owners looking to invest in the 32 teams of the league.
This is not the first attempt of the 45-year-old to own a minority stake in an NFL team. In 2021 and 2022, Brady also had discussions with the Miami Dolphins about becoming a limited partner.
According to ESPN, Brady's impending 10-year, $375 million broadcasting contract with FOX Sports is unaffected by the investment.
The NFL legend played in the league for 23 seasons, spending his first 20 years with the New England Patriots and his last three years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
