Anthony Davis, a star player for the Los Angeles Lakers, suffered an elbow blow to the head during Game 5 on Wednesday night, which forced him to leave the game and head back to the locker room.
Fans were understandably worried that Davis might have sustained a concussion. However, according to a recent report, Davis has avoided a concussion and is doing much better.

Anthony Davis Avoided Concussion
This is great news, especially considering earlier reports were not optimistic. During the broadcast, it was mentioned that Davis had been taken out on a wheelchair, which was a cause for concern.

But things are looking up with Lakers head coach Darvin Ham providing positive updates on Davis after the game and the report that AD appears to have avoided a concussion.
The Lakers need Davis on the court for Game 6, which is crucial. However, even beyond the impact on the game, head injuries are always worrying, and nobody wants to see a player suffer from a concussion. With Davis appearing to have avoided one, he should be able to play in Game 6.
In Game 5, the Warriors were able to protect their home court, and now they will travel to Los Angeles for Game 6. Game 7 will take place in San Francisco if they win one more.
