During Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals series between the Golden State Warriors and the Lakers on Monday night in Los Angeles, Stephen Curry was at the forefront of leading the Warriors in a challenging game.

Although Curry did everything he could to lead the Warriors to victory, Lonnie Walker's contributions helped the Lakers secure the win and move one step closer to the Western Conference Finals.

Lonnie Walker IV's impressive performance garnered a lot of attention on Twitter:

The Warriors held a slim three-point lead at halftime thanks to a strong surge at the end of the second quarter. Though both teams traded runs in the third, Curry and the Warriors came out on top by the end of the period.

However, the Lakers quickly erased the lead at the start of the fourth quarter with an 11-4 run led by Walker. The Lakers were able to hold on to the lead in the final three minutes of the game, limiting the Warriors to just a Curry layup.

Warriors Struggled From Behind the Arc

Despite getting a couple of good looks at the end, Curry and the Warriors were unable to overcome the Lakers' lead. In the last quarter, the Lakers scored 27 points, while the Warriors only managed to score 17 points.

LeBron James led the Lakers with 27 points and 10 rebounds, while Anthony Davis had 23 points and 15 rebounds. Austin Reeves also contributed 21 points.

Curry had an outstanding game with 31 points, 14 assists, and 10 rebounds, earning his third playoff triple-double of his career.

Andrew Wiggins added 17 points, and Klay Thompson had nine points on three 3-pointers. However, the Warriors struggled from behind the arc, shooting just 12-of-41 and 6-of-17 from the field in the fourth quarter.
