LeBron James' Dedication
Despite having the upper hand in the series, Lakers' superstar LeBron James knows the Warriors well, having faced them four times in the NBA Finals during his second stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
James shared an honest quote with the media after Game 4, warning his teammates not to get too comfortable against the Warriors. He emphasized that you can't afford to relax when you play against the Warriors as they are a formidable opponent that demands your full attention and effort.
James had an impressive performance in Game 4, scoring 27 points, grabbing nine rebounds, dishing out six assists, and registering one block in 43 minutes of playing time. Before the game, he was seen getting up shots at the arena five hours before tip-off, showcasing his dedication and commitment to the game.
Despite being 38 years old, James is still one of the top players in the NBA. His regular season averages 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game, with a shooting percentage of 50 from the field.
With the Lakers just one win away from advancing to the next round, James reminded his teammates to stay focused and not let their guard down as they face off against a tough Warriors team in Game 5.
LeBron on the Lakers mindset going into Game 5: “When you play Golden State you can’t relax…so I’m not worried about being comfortable. You can’t do that against Golden State, it’s not possible.”
