Fans of the popular first-person shooter video game "Call of Duty" can now play as NBA star Kevin Durant.

The Phoenix Suns player will be a playable character as part of the game's "Season 03 Reloaded" update, which will be available from May 10.

Devin Booker, a Big CoD Fan

Durant's appearance in the game is part of a limited-time Store Bundle, including Weapons Blueprints, basketball-themed finishing moves, and emblems, among other features.

Durant's inclusion in the game may surprise some, given that one of his Suns' teammates, Devin Booker, is known to be a big fan of "Call of Duty."

Booker had previously turned to the game to blow off steam after tough losses and was reportedly jealous when he learned that Durant would be a playable character in the game.

He told reporters he talks about the game daily, but Durant didn't even mention it to him. Booker even reached out to Durant, saying, "Come on, bro, you didn't even let me know?" Clearly, Booker is a big fan of the game and wishes he could have been included in some way.

Durant as a Video Game Character

Durant is best known for his basketball skills; now, he can also make a name for himself as a video game character.

His appearance in "Call of Duty" is sure to be popular with fans of both the game and the NBA.

With his virtual shooting skills, Durant can help players take out non-player characters (NPCs) in the game, making him a valuable addition to any team.

The Suns are heading back to Footprint Center in Phoenix for their best-of-seven Western Conference semifinal series against the Denver Nuggets, but they're down 2-0.

While it's not an elimination game, it's still a crucial moment for Devin Booker and Kevin Durant, especially since Chris Paul is again injured.

The game is a must-win situation for the Suns if they want to keep their hopes of advancing alive.
