Andrew Wiggins has been on the Golden State Warriors' injury report since February after taking a leave due to personal reasons. With that said, heading to the first round of the playoffs against the Sacramento Kings, there are concerns whether he'll be able to suit up or not.

Game 1 of the 2023 NBA Playoffs series between the two teams is set on Saturday, April 15. With that said, everyone is asking: Is Andrew Wiggins playing vs. Kings?

Warriors' Andrew Wiggins Injury Report

Andrew Wiggins returned to the Warriors last March with a few games left in the regular season. While he is in no way injured, the team ruled him out for the remainder of the regular seasons since he hasn't played competitive basketball for a long time and he's out of game shape.

The 28-year-old has been working on his conditioning ever since re-joining the team, which had raised the possibility of him being ready in time for the playoffs.

Now, according to the latest reports, Wiggins has been cleared to play for the Warriors in Game 1 of the series against the Kings. However, the team is expected to use him off the bench in the opener along with a minutes restriction of 20 to 25 minutes, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.

It remains to be seen until when Wiggins will come of the bench and have the minutes restriction, but his return is definitely a positive development for the Dubs who really need a boost following an up-and-down season.

Wiggins averaged 17.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals in 37 games for Golden State. He shot 47.3 percent from the field and 39.6 percent from deep.

The Warriors are favored to beat the Kings in their NBA Playoffs series despite the fact that Sacramento is the higher-seeded team, thanks in large part to their winning history and experience in the postseason.
