LeBron James and Draymond Green joining Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving on the Dallas Mavericks - a crazy prediction of Bill Simmons, one that he flaunted during the March 27 episode of his The Bill Simmons Podcast.

An implausible scenario, but Simmons had no qualms about making the prediction, saying, "I think he ends up in Dallas," referring to Draymond Green, adding, "With Kyrie and with Luka and then LeBron tries to figure out a way to get there eventually... I don't know; I'm just feeling a Dallas scent. There's some Dallas stuff that feels 'scenty' to me."

As wild as the prediction could be, Mavericks fans may be up for it, considering the team's performance this season. Not only this season, but the Dallas Maverick's game also seemed to get worse year by year. And adding Irving to the mix just before the trade deadline has yet to pay off.

The weekend back-to-back losses to Charlotte, which was playing without LaMelo Ball or Terry Rozier, saw the Mavericks losing four of their last five games.

With just a win-loss record of 37-39, the Mavericks need to work harder as they are 11th in the West, and more losses would put them out of the play-in tournament.

Doncic saying, "I used to have fun, smiling out on the court, but it's just been frustrating," on Sports Illustrated is not surprising.

The Doncic-Irving duo only yielded minor improvements on their stats, climbing just a notch from 9th to 8th on offense and from 24th to 22nd on defense.

However, it could be possible that the pairing has yet to warm up. Doncic and Irving could be an unstoppable duo, as they can both move and draw the defense with their drives and post-up looks.

If the Mavericks could turn around this season to their advantage, they might have a chance to put paid Simmons predictions, as no player would want to join a team that is going on a downward spiral.

With how things are going for the Dallas Mavericks, Green, whose free agency is sure to become a circus, Doncic or Irving joining LeBron James on LA Lakers is a more likely scenario.
