COYOTES vs OILERS Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: Live Coverage from Edmonton

Tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET, the Phoenix Coyotes (15-7-4, 34 points) and Edmonton Oilers (9-17-2, 20 points) square off live from Rexall Place in Edmonton for the second of five meetings this season. The game can be live streamed here. Phoenix fans can hear all of the bone-crunching action on KTAR 92.3 while Edmonton fans can do the same on 630 CHED.

Phoenix is coming off of a season-worst stretch of posting a 1-3-1 record to end November and kick off a four-game road trip while Edmonton resides at the bottom of the Western Conference but has won five of its last seven as it opens up a four-game road trip tonight.

The first time these two teams met, the Coyotes topped the Oilers 5-4 in Phoenix on Oct. 26.

The Coyotes have only scored one first period goal in their last five games and their most recent loss came at home against the Chicago Blackhawks in a 5-2 defeat that saw the team dig itself into an early 3-0 hole.

"You can push back after 3-0, but let's start the game on time," coach Dave Tippett said via NHL.com. "That's frustrating. It's so foreign from how you want to play if you're going to be able to compete with a team like that. It's almost inconceivable we could do it, but we did."

The Oilers notched a 3-2 victory over the Dallas Stars on Sunday and will look to kick their homestand off on the right foot.

"I think in order to be a good hockey team, you have to show some resiliency because things aren't always going to go your way," forward Ryan Jones said per NHL.com.

Edmonton has been led by Jordan Eberle, who has 23 points off of nine goals and 14 assists while Ryan Nugent-Hopkins has six tallies and 15 helpers for 21 points and David Perron has found the twine nine times and added 11 assists for 20 points.

Radim Vrbata and Martin Hanzal have each paced Phoenix with eight goals and 14 assists apiece for 22 points while captain Shane Doan has lit the lamp 11 times and added nine helpers for 20 points.

In net for Phoenix, Mike Smith has gone through a rough stretch but is 12-6-4 with a 3.07 goals-against average and a .910 save percentage. Edmonton counters with Devan Dubnyk, who is 7-11-1 with a 3.24 GAA and a .893 save percentage.

The Coyotes will look to put a stop to a tough stretch while the Oilers will hope to continue to try to turn their season around with a win when these teams hit the ice at Rexall Place in Edmonton tonight.
