The Indianapolis Colts are starting to heat up, winning three of their last four games to put themselves in playoff contention. They will look to keep the momentum going against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have also turned things around recently. Who will prevail in this AFC South showdown? Here's a preview of the Jaguars vs Colts game.
Jacksonville Jaguars installed as +10 underdogs
The Jacksonville Jaguars pulled off one of the shock results in Week 9 as they defeated the AFC-East leading Buffalo Bills, 9-6, in a low-scoring affair. Josh Allen stole the show for the Jaguars as he put the clamps on his namesake, leading Jacksonville to its second win in the last three games.
Jacksonville's Josh Allen made history in that contest as he became the first player in the NFL to ever sack a quarterback with the same name when he dropped Buffalo's Josh Allen for a 10-yard loss late in the opening half. Apart from recording a sack, he also notched an interception and a fumble recovery to go along with his eight tackles.
The Bills quarterback struggled mightily against the Jaguars' defense, passing for just 264 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions. The Jaguars needed their defense to step up with Trevor Lawrence putting up awful numbers as well. He completed just 15 of 26 passes for 118 yards in the win against Buffalo.

Indianapolis Colts enter Week 10 as -10 favorites
The Indianapolis Colts will head to their showdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars with momentum on their side after beating the New York Jets, 45-30, on Thursday Night Football. It was a huge bounce-back win for the Colts, who suffered a gut-wrenching 34-31 loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 8.
Jonathan Taylor starred for the Colts in the comprehensive victory, rushing for 172 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 19 carries. He made the play of the game in the third quarter, unleashing a 78-yard touchdown run that gave Indianapolis a 42-10 lead. Nyheim Hines also did some damage on the ground for the Colts, running for 74 yards and a score on six carries. The Colts as a team registered 260 rushing yards against the Jets.
With the ground game firing on all cylinders, Carson Wentz was also able to slice the Jets' defense with his passing. He completed 22 of 30 passes for 272 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. Wentz and co. will be licking their chops at the prospect of facing a Jacksonville side that is ninth-worst in the NFL in total defense, allowing 375.4 yards per game this season.
The Colts also will fancy their chances in this contest as the Jaguars have fared badly on the road this season. Jacksonville has not won in its three away games this season. The Jags did win in London against the Miami Dolphins but that was technically their home game.
