Nearly two weeks after losing the heavyweight title, former UFC champion Stipe Miocic broke his silence by demanding a rematch with Daniel Cormier.

Miocic, who suffered a first-round knockout to Cormier in the UFC 226 last July 7, said that he deserves a chance to get back his title. Before losing to Cormier, Miocic successfully defended his title three times and hadn't lost since 2014.

The loss of Miocic allowed Cormier to become the second two-division world champion in the company. Conor McGregor was the first UFC fighter two hold two titles at the same time.

"I cleaned out the division. I defended it more than anyone, and you're gonna tell me I don't deserve a chance to get it back? Get out of here. Kiss my a** if you don't think I deserve that," an angry Miocic said.

Miocic, who dropped to 18-3 win-loss following his defeat, is hoping that the UFC would give him an immediate rematch, reiterating that he would not accept any other fights. Miocic added that an accidental eye-poke in the opening round affected his performance in the fight.

Miocic Calls Lesnar's Appearance Disrespectful

The 35-year-old Miocic also fired some shots into Brock Lesnar's antics after the fight, citing that it was disrespectful. It can be recalled that the WWE superstar entered the Octagon and initiated a shoving match with Cormier.

Lesnar is currently serving a drug-related suspension that will run out next year. The WWE superstar currently holds a 5-3 record.

Cormier, the current UFC heavyweight champion, is hoping to square up against Lesnar when he becomes eligible in 2019, but the former is not closing in on the doors of potential fights later this year. Lesnar hasn't registered an official win in the UFC since 2010.

Miocic Willing To Fight Lesnar

On the other hand, Miocic also expressed his interest in fighting Lesnar after the birth of his daughter. Miocic, who had plans of asking for a rematch in the post-match interview, said that Lesnar does not deserve a title shot, most especially since the latter hasn't fought in more than two years.

"I want a title shot. I deserve it," Miocic said. "[Lesnar] hasn't fought in how long? For him to get a title shot, as I get thrown to the side? It just seems like they are desperate for pay-per-views," Miocic demanded.

Miocic revealed that UFC president Dana White apologized to him following the post-fight incident. However, the heavyweight fighter said that White's apology didn't mean anything.
