His boss' mounting concerns aside, Dez Bryant says his recent fumbling problems are not an issue of style and instead were caused by abnormally cold weather.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones publicly chastised his star receiver earlier this week when he told ProFootballTalk.com he feels Bryant's ball security issues are related to his running style and he needed to hold the ball closer to his body as he scampers for greater yardage.

"I think my ball security, in my honest opinion has been fine," Bryant told ProFootballTalk about the recent New York Giants game. "It was just that kind of a game to where you have to be a little bit more prepared focusing on what kind of difficulties it will be in the cold weather handling the ball. You just got to prepare a little bit better knowing you will be in the game."

After still more incessant questioning, Bryant reminded reporters "we did win that game as a team. It's not all about me, not to be rude."

Through 11 games this season, the fourth year wideout has 61 catches for 835 yards and eight touchdowns. Bryant's best season came in 2012, when he hauled in 92 passes for 1,382 yards and 12 TDs.
