"The Fate of the Furious" or "Fast 8" is already one of the most successful films this year despite just premiering on April 4. The movie stars Vin Diesel, who believes he can defeat co-star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in a real-life fight.

In an interview with TMZ Sports, UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley revealed that Vin Diesel told him during a party that he can defeat The Rock in a real-life fight. Woodley noted that Diesel said, "he would flex on The Rock."

"Vin Diesel yelled at me yesterday at the party because I said in a fight versus him and The Rock, I gave it to The Rock. So he pulled up on me. Not in a violent way but he said 'C'mon man, I would flex on The Rock,'" Woodley said.

It should be noted that Vin Diesel and The Rock were not on great terms during the latter stages of the filming of "The Fate of the Furious". There were even rumors of the WWE having an interest in booking them in a match at WrestleMania 33.

However, the 49-year-old actor noted in an interview with USA Today that he is in good terms with the former WWE superstar. He said that it was just two alphas arguing and eventually coming into conclusion that they need each other.

Vin Diesel and The Rock are slated to appear on "The Fast and The Furious 9" in 2019. Diesel added that he treats Johnson as a younger brother. And in the set of the film, he mentioned that it's his house and The Rock is just the uncle visiting.

But in terms of real-life fighting, Vin Diesel is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner while The Rock is a former professional wrestler. Diesel seems to have the edge because the WWE is scripted. However, The Rock is a former football player, winning a national championship with the Miami Hurricanes in 1991.
