Ever since The Hardy Boyz returned to the WWE, fans have been wondering if they will ever use the "Broken" characters. Matt Hardy is still doing some of his mannerisms while Jeff is back to his old persona, "The Charismatic Enigma."

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Matt cannot use the "Broken" character on WWE television while he is in a legal battle with Impact Wrestling for the use of it, per PW Mania. However, the company is already planning on introducing Broken Matt Hardy to the WWE universe. Vince McMahon has reportedly asked the creative team to come up with ideas for his debut.

On the other hand, the WWE have different plans for Jeff Hardy and it may involve some big names. According to IW Nerd, "The Charismatic Enigma" is set to get a push as one of the top superstars on Monday Night Raw.

Jeff Hardy vs. Cesaro this past week was reportedly a test to see if Jeff gets a reaction from the crowd. The WWE liked what they saw and there are even plans for the former WWE world champion to feud with Finn Balor and Brock Lesnar later this year.

The 39-year-old younger Hardy brother was pushed by the WWE from 2008 to 2009 that saw him become a three-time WWE world champion. He main evented several pay-per-views while feuding with stars like Edge, Triple H and CM Punk. Jeff Hardy even managed to become one of the top-selling superstars during that time.

However, it should be noted that these are just rumors and nothing has been confirmed. The worst-case scenario for Jeff Hardy is if joins his Broken Matt Hardy as Brother Nero. The Broken Hardys are one of the most entertaining acts in wrestling and they could have great matches with someone like Bray Wyatt.

As of the moment, Matt and Jeff Hardy are the reigning Raw tag team title holders. They are going to defend their championships at Payback on April 30 at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.
