With gamers enjoying their new favourite Nintendo Switch gaming console, there are reports that the gaming mogul is planning to launch a mini Switch. The product is touted to more portable and child-friendly. As the current Switch gaming console is not comfortable to use for all age-group, Nintendo is aiming to develop a mini version to give more comfortable gaming experience to children too.

An analyst with Citigroup Inc. has projected that Nintendo is soon going to launch the mini Switch, which could be anticipated to be a dedicated portable device, reports Bloomberg. The speculations regarding the product launch can be substantiated with the argument that the smaller gaming consoles are easier to handle and for small hands, they do wonders. Interestingly, analysts are predicting that the mini Switch might expectedly replace the Nintendo 3DS very soon.

It is no surprise that after the rumours of the suspected launch of mini Switch stormed the internet, the would-be features of the console also started featuring. However, the fans can expect the console to come with 5-inch HD display, but without Joy-Con detachable controllers. Expected to be priced at USD 199, the mini gaming console could feature 32GB of RAM. According to Express, Nintendo Switch Gamespot site was recently updated.

With 720p resolution, mini Switch could be predicted to last up to 6 hours. However, it is rumoured that the mini console might not be a hybrid hardware like the Switch. It could be more like Sony's PlayStation Vita. It seems that the fans will have to wait a little longer for mini Switch as analysts like Minami Munakata, Kota Ezawa and Alicia Yap have predicted that Nintendo is not going to release it before 2019.
