"Cities: Skylines" is set to make its console debut on Xbox One on the 21st of April. It is good news for users who like to build cities with a controller rather than a keyboard.

The game which is named after a city inspired by SimCity building and management has become a much-liked title for more than a million of users and simultaneously a good success for the Paradox publisher. It was the most and fastest-selling game back when it was launched in 2015. The current update will take expand the game beyond PC, Mac and Linux.

This release of "Cities: Skylines" for Xbox One will also consist of the game's first DLC expansion, After dark, which could give players access to a whole new transportation option, further nightlife, plenty of tourist attractions and city services added to accommodate any city's citizens night time activities.

The "Cities: Skylines" will be available from April 21 and users can pre-order the game costing around the US $340. The DLC expansion in the game such as Snowfalls and Natural Disasters are not included in the Xbox release at the current release.

Meanwhile, the PC version of the "Cities: Skylines" will ultimately get another DLC expansions such as Mass Transit, which will bring more transportation options to the game and will also offer new ways to get across the town by land, sea and air. There is no final announcement about the release date of this expansion but the announcement trailer is up for the PC users to witness what they will get in near future.

On the other hand, fans of Nintendo and Sony would be a little disappointed by this release in Xbox One. The good thing about the game is that it includes most of the content from the original game. A DLC pack expansion is just an added incentive.
