The Australian fighter Jeff Horn is finally getting the biggest fight of his career after the news arrived that he is likely to sign a contract which will fix his bout against the Filipino great Manny Pacquiao at Suncorp stadium on July 2. This is a good result after some valuable patience from Horn and now he will fight in the mega event.

It has become quite a tiring thing as far as Pacquiao and his camp are concerned, they opted out of a bout against Jeff Horn in April just because they were expecting a deal in the UAE against the British Amir Khan, but it was just a little more than a mirage in the desert in the Arab.

But now, it is very clear that his promoter who goes by the name Bob Arum has given Pacquiao, who himself is a WBO welterweight champion, an ultimatum to take on Horn who is the No.2 contender. There are two options for Pacquaio, whether he accepts the challenge or remain out of sight until November and start fighting when he gets his next break from politics in the Philippines.

After quite a few false deals and starts, it does look like Pacquiao will accept the challenge and become the participant of fighting in one of the most famous fights in Australia. It is expected that a crowd of around 50,000 will be coming to the stadium to watch the fight as it is originally a rugby league cauldron.

This fight will favor Horn all hands down, he is younger and waited for this opportunity in gym sessions and made himself a tough man for competing in these mega fights. Even a decent fight if not a win will improve his reputation as a fighter and for Pacquiao, he has everything to lose for so it is a must-win for the Filipino.
