The top-rank executive Bob Arum has confirmed that everything related to the showdown between Filipino boxing icon Pacquiao and professional Australian boxer Jeff Horn is on track with many things completed.

This Pacquiao-Horn fight has been quite a random thing so far, but having it confirmed is one of the most relieving things for both parties. Arum initially suggested for this fight earlier this year only but Pacquiao rejected this fight as he went after for bout against Britain's Amir Khan.

Eventually, the proposed fight against Amir Khan fell apart for Pacquiao mainly due to some financial issues from the Middle East investors. This triggered Arum to work again and get the fight between Pacquaio and Horn done again. The chief advisor of Pacquiao, Michael Koncz has said that they are targeting a July 2 date for the fight.

Arum further revealed that everything is done in the pre-fight processes. There are some strings that still needs to be done regarding it but not that will not as significant. He stressed on the fact that he is not pressuring Pacquiao to finalize the date and they only need to inform the Queensland government that the deal is pretty much done by the end of last month to secure the finances needed.

It has been reported that July 2 will be the date for the fight but this is not fully confirmed. To add to this, there has been no word about which network will televise the showdown, or it can also be a pay-per-view affair.

They are trying to get the deals done very soon and then get the press conferences done in Australia for about a week, then Arum is his men will come back to the United States and finalize the remaining pieces required for the fight.
