Xiaomi has recently announced a newer version of Mi Notebook Air with upgraded specifications. The newly announced device has received praiseworthy enhancements as well as upgraded specs.

In 2016, Xiaomi had announced the two variants of Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air. Both variants come in two screen sizes and two different Intel processors. One with the sixth generation Intel core M3 processor that runs the 12.5-inch Mi Notebook and other is with Intel Core i5 processor that drives the 13.3-inch, as reported by Telegiz.

Just recently, the Chinese manufacturer has announced an upgraded version of the Xiaomi Mi 12.5-inch Notebook Air. The company announced this upgrade through their official account in Weibo.

The new Xiaomi Mi 12.5-inch Notebook Air is now powered by seventh generation Intel Core M3 processor that will help in improving the Notebook's performance by 12 percent as compared to the previous version. Additionally, the RAM is also increased to 4GB and the internal storage of the new Xiaomi Mi 12.5-inch Notebook Air is increased up to 256 GB. The previous version released in 2016 was having has 128 GB.

In terms of design, nothing has been improved in Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air, however it still looked like its predecessor. Device boasts a slim 12.9mm thin profile with 1.07 kg weight. The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air supports fast charging like its previous version and battery of the notebook can last for 11.5 hours with a nominal use on a single charge, as reported by Gizmo China.

Xiaomi will start the registration of the new Xiaomi Mi 12.5-inch Notebook Air at 10 AM on March 30 through their website. The 2016 version of the 12.5-inch variant is priced at $507, so we can expect new model to be near this only. However Xiaomi as of writing has not disclosed the price for the latest version.
