The Cleveland Cavaliers are currently struggling heading into the final couple of weeks of the regular season. In the Cavaliers double overtime win over the Indiana Pacers on Sunday, LeBron James had an argument with Tristan Thompson that caused a lot of tension in the locker room.

According to Brian Windhorst of ESPN, James and Thompson had shouting match during a timeout in the final seconds of the Cavs' 135-130 double overtime win over the Pacers. "The King" was reportedly upset with Thompson about defensive coverage on Paul George, who torched the defending champs with 43 points.

LeBron James and Tristan Thompson went back and forth during a timeout with 26 seconds left in the game. Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue tried to calm down his two players as they head to the last couple possessions of the game.

After the game, LeBron James apologized to Thompson for yelling at him during the game. He noted that it was wrong of him to do it and he is taking full responsibility for what happened. He added that he wants to keep his words for the locker room and while watching the game tape.

"I have to do a better job of not showing up my teammates out on the floor. I had the right intentions in my mind, but I had the wrong intentions come out of my mouth," James said.

On the other hand, Tristan Thompson noted that everything is good with LeBron James. He told reporters that it was all just miscommunication and they are going to move forward. Cavs general manager David Griffin talked to Thompson before he was interviewed by the media.

However, Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com reported that the Cavaliers locker room was tense after the game. Tristan Thompson was clearly upset while Kyrie Irving and J.R. Smith left the locker room without doing any interviews.

LeBron James and Tristan Thompson, as well as Smith, are all represented by the same agent. It should also be noted that James and Thompson had a beef over Khloe Kardashian, who the latter is currently dating.

The Cavaliers are still a half-game behind the Boston Celtics for the number one spot in the East. They visit the Orlando Magic on Tuesday before hosting the Celtics on Wednesday. If the defending champs beat the Celtics, they will own the very important tiebreaker.
