Adrien Broner is well-known for having one of the loudest mouths in boxing; apparently his chatter isn't only limited to himself.
Following Manny Pacquiao's dominant unanimous decision victory over Brandon Rios in Macau, China, Broner took to Twitter to offer his eloquent thoughts on what transpired. "Rios said every time he get hit it's like he have a orgasm. Well I guess he was busting nuts all afternoon in china."
Broner's tweet was in reference to Rios comments on HBO's Face Off. "Bam Bam" likened his passion for boxing to sex, with his exact quote reading, "For me, boxing's better than sex; that's my orgasm."
The comments were an example of why Broner's December 14th opponent Marcos Maidana will be gunning so hard for a knockout of the welterweight beltholder. Maidana recently was quoted saying "Everyone knows that Broner has a big mouth, but that doesn't bother me, because his mouth can't fight for him. Whether he has the guts to stand in front of me or if he runs I'll definitely go for the KO and either way, I'm leaving the ring with the belt."
Those comments were in reference to Broner saying, "I'm a Ferrari and he's a go-kart and my fans will see that in my return to Texas. It's been over four years since I've fought there and I'm going to put on a show. Watch me light Maidana up like a Christmas tree on Dec. 14."
Questions have swirled about whether Broner is too cocky heading into this showdown with Maidana because he looked overweight at promotional events. Broner dispelled those concerns on Instagram last week, posting a photo of his trimmed down physique.
Accompanying the photo was a caption that read, "Look it's the guy whose out of shape lol."
