Today at 1:00 p.m. ET the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-8) will try to ride a sudden hot streak that has carried them to their first two victories of the season into Detroit, where they'll battle the Lions (6-4). Live stream the game here, or watch it on Fox. Bucs fans can listen to the game on WDAE 620, while Lions fans can hear the action on 97.1 FM The Ticket.

The matchup everyone will pay to see today is "Megatron" Calvin Johnson of the Lions vs. star cornerback Darrelle Revis, but as a whole the Lions need to shake off a bizarre performance in which they blitzed the Steelers for 27 second quarter points and were shut out for the remainder of the game.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford completed 3-of-16 passes in the second half. "We just didn't execute," Stafford said. "They came out in the second half and played a little bit more two-man. For one reason or another we didn't connect."

At one point, the Lions were up by for and attempted a fake field goal rather than kick a field goal that would've put them up by seven points. It didn't work, and has been pointed to as a turning point in the loss. "If we were successful in that situation, and we go up 11 right there, I know what you guys would write," Lions coach Jim Schwartz said. "You guys would write: 'It's a different attitude, Lions are going for the win, they're not trying to just be settling for field goals.'"

Defensively, Detroit must stuff a newly potent Tampa Bay rushing attack spearheaded by former third stringer Bobby Rainey, who accounted for three touchdowns last week. "He's got a good feel, and when I say that it's just he's a football player," coach Greg Schiano said.
