UFC lightweight contender Nate Diaz recently took to Twitter to blast UFC president Dana White about recent comments the latter made about him. In a recent interview, White said that Diaz could possibly be holding out for a fight against Conor McGregor, and that the Stockton native “keeps turning down fights.”
Never one to prefer subtlety, Nate Diaz tweeted, “This fu**** can’t stop making s*** up about me and I haven’t been offered any fights except the one laughed at,” adding a middle finger and fist emoji for emphasis. Diaz was referring to the recent interview Dana White gave TMZ. As noted by MMA Fighting, Diaz last fought at UFC 202 in a highly-anticipated rematch with Conor McGregor. The fight saw Diaz take home a career-high $2 million fight purse for the event that drew a UFC record 1.65 million pay-per-view buys.
