Wrestlemania 33 has another match in its list of popular matches, as Smackdown commissioner Shane McMahon himself chose to fight AJ Styles in the main event in April.

Shane announced this on Smackdown Live on Tuesday night, Wrestlemania 33 will take place on the 2nd of April at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. We know Styles has a problem with decision-makings of Shane McMahon and Smackdown general manager Daniel Bryan in recent months, he feels he is being held back a little as a wrestler.

Styles specially talked his displeasure of not getting a rematch after he lost his title to John Cena, as well as not been involved in the biggest event of WWE, the Wrestlemania. he later attacked Shane which sparked more drama between the two and now the Smackdown commissioner has declared a match of the two.

Shane has competed in a Wrestlemania event before, latest being in a fight against the Undertaker in Wrestlemania 32, he eventually lost that Hell in a Cell match. Styles too lost last year to Jericho.

This incident actually took place because Styles entered the Smackdown fuming at his current situation. He thought he had done enough to earn a match against Bray Wyatt for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania 33. He was left out of the Orlando main event match card.

Then, Shane was walking down in backstage and Styles jumped on him, started beating him brutally. The beating was so brutal that Shane was sent flying in the walls, coolers and everything that came in between. He was a bloody mess when Styles threw his head into a car window, this action resulted in Styles getting fired by the general manager Daniel Bryan. Then, Shane himself declared the match later.

The match is fixed now but the question is what will happen at Orlando, Styles is an accomplished wrestler with enough pedigree, Shane is a wrestler who just has one fight in him for several years. WWE need to take a look at this and sort it out.
