Microsoft Surface Pro 5 Update: Release In April Plus Intel Kaby Lake Processor, 4K Display & Windows 10

Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is probably the most awaited device of 2017. Rumors are hovering on the social media regarding the laptop cum tablet.  Surface Pro 5 is expected to feature cutting-edge specs.  The upcoming laptop could be a game changer for the US tech giant in order to gain market share in top-end laptop market segment.

Microsoft Surface Pro 5 might mark a 4K Display, reports DroidReport. 4K display technology is highly rated for its quality in terms of viewing experience. Fans also are hoping for the said UHD display in the gadget. Microsoft Surface Pro 5 could sport USB-C Type, a feature, which will help users in fast data transfer and fast charging.  

If reports are to be believed, Camera in Surface Pro 5 will also be enhanced.  On the software or OS front, the latest version of Windows 10 will be featured in the device. In terms of storage, Surface Pro 5 is expected to have 16GB RAM and 1TB internal memory

Surface Pro 4 is known for its stylus or Surface Pen. It is said to be a great key feature in the latest version of Surface Pro series. Reports suggest that Pro 5's stylus will be much improved and users will be able to do much more with it.

When it comes to processor, recent reports indicate Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 635 processor, reports PCAdvisor. It will help in increasing the battery life of the laptop. Earlier it was speculated that Microsoft might choose Intel Kaby Lake Processor for its flagship device. Overall, it is still not clear, which processor will be equipped with the said tablet.

The official launch date is still not confirmed but it is reported that Surface Pro 5 might come in April. While laptop might cost users around $900.
