The NFL free agency bonanza is already on going. It's open season once again in the NFL free agency. One of the biggest name in this off season's free agency bonanza has just recently signed to a new team. Former New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall is moving on with the New York Giants.

Brandon Marshall has just signed a two year deal to play for the New York Giants, according to a report from ESPN. The deal Brandon Marshall signed with the New York Giants is worth $12 million for two years.

With the recent acquisition of Brandon Marshall, the New York Giants suddenly became the biggest threat for the defending Super Bowl champions, the New England Patriots. The New England Patriots, once again with the greatest quarterback Tom Brady leading them, is favored to win the Super Bowl next year, via a report from Sports Illustrated.

The New York Giants and the New England Patriots have faced off twice already in the Super Bowl. Both times the New England Patriots lost to the New York Giants. The addition of Brandon Marshall would mean that the New York Giants would pose the greatest three-headed pass threat in the NFL.

Brandon Marshall would be joining fellow wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Shepard. That's a formidable trio of wide of receivers fro the New York Giants. The three wide receivers would certainly give headaches and matchup problems for opposing teams. More so for the New England Patriots, if ever the two rivals meet in the Super Bowl.

While the signing of Brandon Marshall at a bargain price is exciting new for the New York Giants, it also a gamble for the New York Giants. Brandon Marshall has a reputation as a locker room cancer.

Although last season, Brandon Marshall has mostly veered away from that reputation, there are still a few incidents last season. In the Week 3 loss against the Kansas City Chiefs, Brandon Marshall and Sheldon Richardson got into a heated argument after the game.

Never the less, this is still a win-win situation for both the New York Giants and Brandon Marshall. The New York Giants would get a top caliber wide receiver while Brandon Marshall will at last have a chance at playing in the post season for the first time in his 11-year career.
