Tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET, the Boston Bruins (13-6-1, 27 points) and New York Rangers (10-10-0, 20 points) faceoff live from Madison Square Garden in New York City in the first of three meetings against each other this season. The game can be live streamed here. Boston fans can hear all of the hard-hitting action by tuning into 98.5 The Sports Hub while New York fans can do the same on 98.7 FM WEPN.

Boston enters play just one point shy of the Tampa Bay Lightning for the Atlantic Division lead while New York has had trouble scoring goals but remains in the mix in the Metropolitan Division.

The Rangers scoring need may get a boost when Rick Nash re-enters the lineup for the first time since Oct. 8 when he suffered a concussion.

"I'm excited. Kind of a controlled emotion. It's been a long six weeks, so I'm excited to get in there," Nash told NHL.com. "I think the first everything is going to take a while, whether it's a hit, a shot, a pass, making different plays. It was a long time off, so it's going to take some time."

New York has played back-to-back 1-0 games, winning over the Montreal Canadiens Saturday before falling to the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday.

The Bruins are on the third and final game of their current three-game road trip, and after losing to Ottawa Senators on Friday 4-2 to open up the trip, Boston turned things around and topped the Carolina Hurricanes 4-1 on Monday where the Bruins penalty kill notched their 32nd straight penalty kill after surviving a 5-on-3 disadvantage that lasted 1:03.

"We won faceoffs and we were in the right place to ice the puck," coach Claude Julien said per NHL.com. "We iced it three times. With 1:03, they could have spent a lot more time in our end, but we didn't give them that opportunity. Our guys were in the right position, so we got what we wanted out of it."

The Bruins have a lot of offensive weapons and Milan Lucic (nine goals, seven assists) and David Krejci (three goals, 13 assists) each have 16 points while Reilly Smith has three goals and 10 helpers for 13 points.

The Rangers have been led by Brad Richards, who paces the team in goals (six) and points (16) while adding 10 assists. His 10 assists tie him for the team-lead with Derek Stepan, who also has added four goals for 14 points.

In net, Henrik Lundqvist is 6-8-0 for the Rangers with a 2.41 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage while Tuukka Rask is 11-5-1 for the Bruins with a 1.64 GAA and a .944 save percentage.

The Bruins will look to end their road trip on a high note while the Rangers hope that the return of Nash will help them find their scoring touch when the puck drops tonight at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
