Ford remains on top of the pickup industry. Its F-150 Raptor edition is probably the best truck in the world.

The 450 horsepower and the 510 pound-feet of torque outputs reinforce the number one tag of the Detroit-based automaker among off-road manufacturers. However, Ford Motors is not done yet.

The entry of the Hennessey VelociRaptor pickup further solidifies the organization's market hold. The engineers at Ford has unwrapped a 3.5-liter V6 machine that is able to unload 605 horsepower to go with 622 pound-feet of torque.

For any dune-navigator, the numbers are definitely incredible. Here is a small truck that is able to zoom off to 60mph within 4.2 seconds and a quarter-mile with less than 13 seconds at 110mph.

The Hennessey VelociRaptor is not just any off-roader in sight. Its enhancement elements are simply devastating.

The presence of its highly-efficient turbochargers incurs a heightened boost pressure with an upgraded intercooler and low-restriction consumption. Ford has also added a stainless steel dual exhaust with modifications to the engine management process to the upcoming Raptor variant.

Potential owners of the Hennessey VelociRaptor truck will get some kind of bonus. Considering the $22,500-worth of improvements, Ford will be offering a 36,000-mile or three-year warranty.

The Detroit-headquartered firm has further bolstered its modification process as the new Raptor gets new front and back bumpers. Aside from adding more LED lights and lifting the suspension by three inches, the vehicle will also be fitted with 35-inch Toyo tires.

Ford will be installing a high-flow air induction system on the Ford Hennessey VelociRaptor unit. Moreover, optional enhancement that includes a stage two turbo package and twin blow-off valves is also available. Additional modification that covers an 8-inch suspension lift plus 37-inch tires with spring adjustments will cost interested owners around $10,000.

As of late, Ford intends to limit its VelociRaptor production. Around a hundred units will be in the market for 2017. However, the US automaker is looking to build a six-wheel variation of the current model.
