Today at 4:00 p.m. ET, Utah (4-5, 1-5 Pac-12) and No.6 Oregon (8-1, 5-1 Pac-12) go head-to-head live from Autzen Stadium in Oregon. The game can be live streamed here. Utah fans can hear all of the hard-hitting action by tuning their dials to KALL 700 while Oregon fans can do the same on 590 KUGN.
Sophomore quarterback Marcus Mariota has downplayed his mysterious knee injury even after Oregon lost to Stanford last Thursday by a 26-20 margin. Mariota said "no, not at all," when asked if his knee was a concern but also said "that's something I can't tell you," when he was asked about whether or not he'd be 100 percent, according to ESPN.
Mariota, a Heisman Trophy candidate, is 164-for-259 (63.3%) for 2,531 yards with 22 touchdowns and no interceptions thus far this season. He's also second on the team with 495 rushing yards on 62 carries for nine touchdowns.
Mariota threw for 250 yards with two scores in last week's loss, but he rushed for negative yards after being sacked three times.
"My knee is what it is. I'm not going to use that as an excuse," Mariota said per ESPN.
Oregon needs to win its remaining games and also has to hope for some outside help if the team wants to host the Pac-12 championship.
Utah lost its third straight game last Saturday in a 20-19 defeat at the hands of then-No.23 Arizona State after blowing a 12-point lead heading into the final quarter.
"That's the second or third game we've let go in the fourth quarter," defensive end Trevor Reilly said. "We need to remember our technique in the fourth quarter."
Oregon will look to continue to win in order to keep its Pac-12 championship hopes alive while Utah will look to snap a three-game losing streak when these teams take the field opposite one another this afternoon.
