NFL team New York Jets' cornerback Darrelle Revis faces a pending charge that includes two counts of aggravated assaults, after being involved in a fight with two men last weekend in Pittsburgh.

A Pittsburgh police statement and a court document stated that 31-year old Revis is also facing charges of robbery, terrorist threats, conspiracy to aggravated assaults along with the incident charge of last Sunday at 2:43 am. Blaine Jones, who is Revis' attorney, said that Revis was more physically assaulted at that incident location by a group of around five people.

Furthermore, Jones said that Revis feared for his safety after that assault on him and sought medical attention. The Jets' cornerback was a disturbed man both mentally and physically. Attorney Jones told the Press he is waiting for the warrant to be issued so that he can arrange for Revis to turn himself in.

The Pittsburgh police though say the alleged fight begun when a 22-year old man who was not identified by police in a statement, spotted Revis walking around. After confirming with Revis that he is an NFL Jets' player, the man started recording their interaction. The Jets' cornerback then sensed some danger and grabbed the phone from the man, he tried to delete video then.

While Revis was trying to delete the video, a 21-year old man came to help the man who was recording, but Revis tossed the phone into the road just to make sure nothing can be done. This lead to an argument which got heavier, then another man came and started helping Revis, as stated by the Pittsburgh police.

Police also say two others claimed that they were punched and knocked out during that incident itself by Revis and his helper. The two men regained their consciousness and talked to the authorities about the assault.
