Apple is planning to come up with cutting-edge specs. The 10th anniversary of the iPhone is going to be huge. The rumour mills are constantly churning out new information about the celebratory 2017 iPhone and there seems to be an abundance of amazing features coming in the latest device.

Many rumours suggest a radical design for which the company is testing around 10 prototype models. Report suggests an edge to edge display which means Apple will do away with the famous home button which also houses the fingerprint sensor in previous iPhone models. This means that the Touch ID and front facing camera will have to be integrated in the display itself or the Touch ID might go to the backside of the phone like many Android phones in the market.

The wireless charging and OLED display seems to be a regular now in every other rumour thereby hinting at a strong prospect of their presence in the 2017 iPhone. The device might come with a flexible display and higher contrast ratio with true to life colours, if some new rumours are to be believed reported, MacRumours.

According to Apple supplier, Catcher Technology, the new iPhone is more likely to readopt the all glass body with an aluminium or steel frame and will ditch the aluminium housing which was used in the iPhone 5, 5s, 6, 6s, and SE. Many rumours suggest that there might be two iPhones releasing this year with one featuring the new glass body and another one featuring the old aluminium body. An iPhone with a single sheet of glass is something which has been doing the rounds of the rumour mills for quite long and has also been a dream of one of the prominent figures in the company.

The new iPhone will surely feature a faster and more efficient processor which might be a 10 nanometer A11 chip. There are also chances of wireless charging and other biometric identifications like iris, facial and gesture being added to the latest device reported Imore.

Apple could also feature USB C-Type in iPhone 8 for faster connectivity. Stay tune for more Smartphone updates.
