Verizon Unlimited, T-Mobile ONE: Comparison Between Best Unlimited Data Plans

After many attacks from smaller rivals, T-Mobile and Sprint, Verizon finally decided to introduce unlimited data plans. Just after Verizon announced its unlimited plans, T-Mobile updated its unlimited plan to stand in line with the biggest rival.

These two carriers currently offer unlimited plans with unlimited talk, messages and data. They offer low speed after data limit exceeds. As written in CNET, Verizon offers 22GB data limit while T-Mobile offers 28GB limit.

Companies introduce unlimited plans at a reasonable price to overcome overage charges. T-Mobile One plan costs $70 per month with $5 per month discount on AutoPay while Verizon offers unlimited data at $80 per month with $5 per month AutoPay discount.

Verizon's plan does not include taxes, surcharges or additional fees. Sprint is currently offering unlimited data plans for $50 per month through March 31, 2018.

They also offer additional lines if there is a requirement. Cost depends on the number of lines. T-Mobile offers $100 per month for first two lines, $47 each for three lines and $40 each for four lines. Verizon is quite costly when it comes to extending lines. It offers $80 per month for the first line, $70 each for two lines, $54 each for three lines and $45 each for four lines.

Verizon offers HD video streaming in its plan. Previously T-Mobile was offering video streaming in low resolution but after listening to Verizon's plan, it changed its plan to include HD video streaming. The cost of an unlimited plan with high definition video streaming for a single line remains the same for both the carriers.

No one can outsmart these carriers as they also put a limit on mobile hotspot data. Verizon and T-Mobile allow 10GB mobile hotspot data per month.

T-Mobile compares its T-Mobile ONE plan with AT&T in its official website. T-Mobile offers an unlimited plan for all 4 lines at just $160 per month while AT&T offers 25GB shared data for 4 lines at $110 per month but after including all the taxes it becomes $222 per month which is $112 more than the originally written price. On the other side, T-Mobile's plan includes all the taxes.

At the end, it is not only about the money, but network coverage and its quality matter too. It is the first time for Verizon but T-Mobile offers unlimited plans for a long time.
