Donald Trump's Immigration Ban: Around 100 Tech Companies Join Forces In Court To Oppose Him

Donald Trump's immigration ban executive order is facing disagree issues from a number of major tech companies now. These tech companies are joining together to fight against the Trump travel ban, that too legally.

According to Forbes, a legal battle has been started over between Donald Trump's decision and some of the biggest names in the Silicon Valley. The legal battle is obviously a high profile legal battle this time.

The tech firms filed court paper declaring that the executive order made by Donald Trump on immigration ban simply "violates the immigration laws and the Constitution of United States". There were two court filings, one on Sunday and the other on Monday.

CNN reported that there is the total of 127 tech companies which includes Apple, Facebook, Intel, Google, Microsoft, Netflix, Uber, Lyft as well as Twitter who signed on to a court filing which was successfully submitted to the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals. The 53-page amicus filing highlighted America's history as a "nation of immigrants".

It was clearly stated that if the executive order given by Trump is still allowed to stand, "American workers and the US economy will suffer a lot as a result." Also, "Immigrants make many of the Nation's greatest discoveries, and create some of the country's most innovative and iconic companies," it says.

Lawyers from the tech companies wrote that this instability and uncertainty will make it far more difficult for these companies to hire some of the world's best talent. Skilled people will not wish to immigrate to the US if they may be cut off without warning which is a big risk.

It clearly shows that tech firms are clearly against the decision made by Donald Trump on Muslim ban. For sure, it is affecting the US economy and companies to some extent and the situation can be worse if it continues like the same way.
