The "Avengers: Infinity War" is an upcoming film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and is expected to feature every hero it has in its arsenal. However, the surprising thing about this movie is that the main characters would be a villain, in the name of Thanos.

According to Collider, Feige, an executive in Marvel Studios, says that Thanos would take a very different role from the previous ones. He also confirms that he will be the movie's main character.

Though it may be different from the one they made before, he says that it is the right thing to do with a movie like "Avengers: Infinity War". Josh Brolin will take the role of Thanos.

Thanos is featured in "Guardians of the Galaxy" and in a credit scene in "Avengers: Age of Ultron". Now, he is up for a major role. Just last year, Brolin says that he will be shot with a real mocap, instead of relying heavily on CGI.

He says that he is not in a booth because he is literally being filmed. He then adds that there were 34 to 36 cameras shooting him. This would only mean one thing, and that the film will feel realistic in every sense of it.

According to Game Spot, Brie Larson would be taking up the role of Captain Marvel, and that she will appear in "Avengers: Infinity War". Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange and Black Panther are also expected to be joining the rest of the team in this movie.

This will surely be the biggest Marvel movie yet, as most of the superheroes featured in every Marvel film will appear side by side in this movie. "Avengers: Infinity War" will premiere in theaters on May 4, 2018. The next Avengers movie is also slated to release in the following year, on May 3, 2019.
