The near future of Apple may have a drastic change after the release date of iPhone 8, it is no secret that their dev and design teams are grinding hard to ensure that doesn't do as bad as iPhone 7 did. Recent rumors are circulating about the release date, specs, and news of the iPhone 8.

These things are still at rumor level but of high possibility, as they have some back-up and evidence to support the facts. We have almost eight months left before we see the release of iPhone 8. The easiest rumor to speculate is the release date of iPhone 8, it is mostly because all iPhones after iPhone 5 has been released in September.

We all know Apple conducts a special event every year to announce the release date, usually in the first or second week of September might be the time to see iPhone 8 released. Some of the prospects of iPhone 8 are looking brighter than previous versions, as the phone is due some serious upgrades. In fact, Apple makers were sacked for having the same design for the previous three releases, which didn't bode well in the market. iPhone 8 is expected to have an All-Glass Body, going to back to the iPhone 4 days.

The new-age hardened Gorilla glass will make the body more feasible than ever before. There's also an advanced talk of a curved edge-to-edge display, which could most probably integrate the home button, touch ID, and front camera into the screen itself, and bring iPhone 8 to the competition.

While the iPhone 7 dropped considerably with an old LCD on it, critics and consumers were very shocked to see that. AMOLED is the industry standard at this point and Apple's defiant move to stay outdated with its screening display was mind boggling. But, the company is determined to keep its smartphone back into competition, so iPhone 8 will surely have better specs and features.

iPhone 8 is expected to feature an OLED, or possibly an AMOLED. AMOLED being quite a standard at Android ecosystem, we shouldn't be surprised if Apple takes this tried and tested route as well. One of the biggest rumors about iPhone 8 is its screen size, many reports suggest that in addition to 4.7 and 5.5-inch screens of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus, the iPhone 8 will receive a 5.8-inch screen treatment.

It will be interesting to see how 5.5-inch will compete with 5.8 and how Apple manage these two so that both are appealing enough for the customers. iPhone 8 is also rumored to feature an A11 processor, which is quite a good news as it will make it the fastest smartphone in the world and by some distance.

According to latest rumors, the iPhone 8 will also get an upgrade to an IP68 water and dust resistance rating, which means it'll be able to stay submerged in up to 1.5m of water for up to 30 minutes. This will finally put it to snuff with Samsung Galaxy's S7. The possibilities of wireless charging are also high too.

The other news about the camera is that the rear-facing camera may feature an upgraded 14MP sensor, and the front-facing camera may be integrated into the display itself.

Now, we come down to the marketing price of the iPhone 8. iPhone 7 started at $649 and iPhone 7 Plus at $769. But, according to the latest speculations about iPhone 8 price, it is expected to start at around $1100-1200 area.
