Tom Brady, who is now 39-years-old, is expected by the Patriots to play for the team for three to five more years. The team also suggests that another contract extension could be put in place by next season. What this means is that Brady could retire at the age of 44. As of now, the current deal of Brady is up until the 2019 season.

Though this is not a surprising revelation, it still is worthy of making the headlines due to the superstar status that Tom Brady is currently in. Though it is very evident that age plays a vital factor in an athlete's productivity, Brady seems to be an exception.

Having only missed once during the 2008 season due to a single injury, and missing four games this season due to him suspended by the NFL, is enough reason for him to show off his very good health status. According to NFL.com, Tom Brady says that having a well-placed diet, exercise and having the proper resting time are just a few of the reasons why he remains healthy.

Now, he might be the MVP of this year's season. Take note that Tom Brady had always been the favorite for that status for years.

This clearly shows that despite the inevitable aging process that he is in, he is still very passionate about the game; this results to him being at his peak health all of the time. According to Business Insider, Garopollo could still be playing for the Patriots.

And if this was the case, Brady would surely be in for some luck as he doesn't need to adjust to a newcomer. It would be very good to expect that Tom Brady would still be the face of the NFL in the next years to come.
