BlackBerry, the Canadian tech giant is all set to unveil its new flagship Mercury at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona in February as the smartphone maker recently confirmed a pre-MWC 2017 event on February 25, 2017. The flagship has been in rumors since it was shown off at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January.
According to Android Headlines, it is reported that a character named Michael Baxter (played by Tim Allen) in the show Last Man Standing was seen using this device in an episode. Also, it is noted in the report that other characters on the show can be seen using other models from the Canadian firm such as the DTEK60.
There are very few speculations made on BlackBerry Mercury yet. The phone is expected to sport 4.5-inch display having 4:3 aspect ratio, a front-mounted-touch-sensitive QWERTY keyboard which can be used as a trackpad, a fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm headphone port, a USB Type-C port as well, Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM and a powerful 3,400 mAh battery and an onboard storage of 32GB.

According to Gadgets NDTV, it is reported that BlackBerry may unveil another mid-range smartphone along with the BlackBerry Mercury flagship but target for Indonesia tech market. A tipster claims that the mid-range smartphone is BBC100-1 and there are no confirmations yet on its unveiling. The smartphone was leaked by Roland Quandt of winfuture.de and claims few of the specifications that the BBC 100-1 will have.

The BBC100-1 is rumored to have Snapdragon 425 SoC clocked at 1.4GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM , a 5.5-inch HD display, a 32GB inbuilt storage, a 13-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera, to feature dual SIM and a 3000mAh battery.
Also, Quandt tweeted recently that BlackBerry Mercury holds a Snapdragon 625 processor instead of the rumored Snapdragon 821 processor. The leaks and rumors are yet to be officially confirmed by the company and soon the most anticipated smartphone from the Canadian tech giant will hit the tech market. Stay tuned for more updates.
