Trade rumors to New York Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony are headlining the news nowadays. And as the February trade deadline fast approaching, rumbling reports are saying that it is a matter of time that he will be on his way out on the Knicks teams. And it seems that he likely heads to the Los Angeles Clippers as the best destination for him.

Melo has been the hot topic of rumor mills since the start of this year. He is not new on trade rumors as he was previously linked to numerous trade deals last year. However, he brings in a no-trade clause on his contract which seems to be the main reason why he still wearing the Knicks uniform.

But, just recently, frustration with the current situation of the Knicks seems to be caught him as he blasted the whole team for their lackluster performance and Knicks president Phil Jackson for trying to flaunt to the media that he is not needed anymore by the team. Now, it appears that he might find himself playing for another team before the trade deadline ends.

According to Forbes, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, and Los Angeles Clippers are all lined-up to be the three possible destinations for Carmelo Anthony. Though as said earlier that he still has the no-trade clause, he might decide of waiving it if things will still not pan out with the Knicks. And so, to whom the team will Melo be a perfect fit?

The Celtics have plenty of tradeable assets and future picks to entice the Knicks to move Melo to them. But Anthony is getting older (he is now 32 years old) and Celtics GM Danny Ainge are planning to make the roster younger as possible in the future.

On the other hand, the Cavs are also desperately looking for help as they are having some trouble as of late. From the looks of it, LeBron James will surely be happy of welcoming his good buddy Melo but salary will be a big issue for both teams as the Cavs will be over the salary cap once they absorb Anthony's contract. And it seems that the Clippers will be the winner of acquiring Melo.

According to ESPN, the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers are already discussing a trade for Carmelo Anthony. No trade offers yet was talk about between two teams but the best part of it is that the Knicks let the Clippers know that they will not ask for Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, and DeAndre Jordan in return.

Having Carmelo Anthony on their lineup will surely boost the Los Angeles Clippers chances in the playoffs. Aside from that, he will be reunited with good buddy Paul and they will form the "Big Four" in Lob City with Griffin and Jordan.
