A couple of teams got some good news this week regarding their injured players. The Milwaukee Bucks are set to welcome Khris Middleton this early February while the Philadelphia 76ers will finally see Ben Simmons play sometime after the 2017 NBA All-Star Game.

On the other hand, Jeremy Lin is still out with a left hamstring injury in the Brooklyn Nets game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday. Lin, who signed a $36 million contract last summer, has only played in 12 games because of his hamstring injury, as well as back issues.

Khris Middleton returning in early February

According to Marc Stein of ESPN, the Bucks are expecting to have Middleton back in the lineup in early or mid-February. The 25-year-old swingman suffered a torn left hamstring in practice just days before the start of the regular season.

Middleton was ruled out of the entire season but he seemed to be recovering ahead of schedule. The Bucks can certainly use the sharpshooting guard as the team tries to return to the playoffs.

Ben Simmons to make NBA debut in March

The Sixers took Simmons first overall in the 2016 NBA Draft. He suffered a Jones fracture in the preseason and the Sixers decided that they might not let him play for the entire season. Their current star, Joel Embiid, struggled with foot injuries in his first two years in the league that is why the team is cautious with Simmons.

However, Simmons is way ahead of his schedule and he could return sometime after the NBA All-Star break, per Chris Haynes of ESPN. The 20-year-old rookie could boost the Sixers' chances of making the playoffs.

Jeremy Lin still out against Pelicans

The Nets could use Lin on Friday when they visit New Orleans as they try to win their first game of 2017. However, the 28-year-old point guard is ruled out of the game against Pelicans due to a left hamstring strain, CBS Sports reported.
