'Game of Thrones' Season 7 is back in production house for the New Year. In the article we'll discuss everything fans need to know before the show returns to HBO this summer.

Season 7 will consist of seven episodes and all the episode will premiere possibly int the next few months after the scheduled April air date. Now the winter has arrived, executive producers David Benioff and D.B Weiss strongly beleive that the storylines would be better by starting the production a bit later than usual, when the weather will actually be changing.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Casey Bloys, President of HBO Programming, says that instead of show's traditional spring debut, it will be aired in summer to accomodate new shooting schedule. The news of the delay and decreased episode count comes as no surprise. Benioff and Weiss revealed that production wll start later than expected as they wait for gloomy weather in a bid to capture a forecast that reflects the 'winter is here' moment revealed in the season six finale.

Jim Broadbent has been cast for a yet to be disclosed role and HBO confirmed that the character would be significant. Broadbent has a history of important parts in some of the great films like "Moulin Rouge," "Gangs of New York" and "Iris," for which he won the Oscar.

Another big name joining this Season is the UFC Champ Connor McGregor, UFC has already confirmed the involvement of their Champion, a source verifies that he will appear in a glorified cameo. He will portray a pirate and crew member on Euron Greyjoy's ship, The Silence.

As assumed, McGregor will be his typical strong and destructive right-hand when the self-claimed King of the Iron Islands brings his navy to combat against that of Daeneyrs and Yara Greyjoy.
