"You look at not only this game, but a few games before it and you can see he is getting more comfortable," Stars defenseman Sergei Gonchar told the Stars' website. "He's controlling the puck a little bit more, you can see it coming. It seems like he is making nice progress."
The Bruins open up a much-needed five-game homestand after dropping three of their last four and will have Loui Eriksson back in the lineup to face his old team after he missed five games with a concussion. Boston is coming off of a 3-1 loss to the New York Islanders on Saturday.
"I don't know what you want to call it but I call it 'not good enough,' " Julien told reporters after the game per NHL.com. "There's no way in the world you should come in here [to Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum] and play the way you play. We're not competing hard enough."
Boston has been led by David Krejci, who has two tallies and 11 helpers for a team-high 13 points while Milan Lucic has lit the lamp six times and has added six assists for 12 points.
Between the pipes, Boston has turned to Tuukka Rask in 11 of their 13 games thus far and he's posted a 7-4-0 record with a solid 1.73 goals-against-average and a .940 save percentage while Dallas has gone with Kari Lehtonen for nine of its 15 games and he has put together a 5-2-2 record with a 1.94 GAA and a .936 save percentage.
