Derek Jeter settling down is something few people thought they'd ever see -- and when the wedding does happen, only a few people will actually see it.

The Yankees captain and former shorstop popped the question to Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Hannah Davis back in October and the couple plans to tie the knot in July.

Now, details of their small, intimate wedding have trickled out with the date rapidly approaching on July 2.

"Derek and Hannah planned to marry in a beautiful location, surrounded by just close family and friends," a source told Page Six. "It is going to be an intimate ceremony, rather than a big affair with all the Yankees and every big name in sports."

Jeter had many high-profile relationships during his MLB career, but always kept them private. It seems he plans to keep his wedding just as low-key as his personal life during his career. It also appears there should be some little Jeters running around in no time.

"The wedding will be in Napa followed by a three-week honeymoon in Europe," the source said. "Then they want to start a family and have kids right away."

The publication reports that it is believed Jeter and Davis will be married at Auberge du Soleil, a five-star resort in Napa Valley. Though Jeter likely won't invite too many former players, Jorge Posada will likely be in attendance after having the Yankees captain serve as his best man back in 2000.

Much like her husband to be, Davis, a Virgin Islands native, is also low-key.

"I'm chill," Davis told Health.com about her attitude being a bride in March. "I just want it to be a fun day, not all the fuss. I don't want to go overboard -- it's not about the place settings. I won't get stressed-out about that, 'cause I could just care less."

Davis has previously stated she wasn't looking for a huge wedding and was actively rooting for people not to show up. She's also been very private about the wedding.

"I feel like I have to share every other part of my life," Davis said in the March issue of Maxim Magazine. "It's that one part that's a little bit of a mystery to people, but that's the way we want it. The only way to protect it is not to talk about it."

Only a few people will be on-hand to see them tie the knot.
