The Thunder will try again to punch their ticket to the NBA Finals, while the Warriors look to keep their memorable season alive when these teams go head-to-head at the Chesapeake Energy Center in Oklahoma City, Okla. for Game 6 of the Western Conference finals on Saturday.

After failing to eliminate its opponent last time out, Oklahoma City looks to win on its home court and advance to the NBA Finals for the first time since losing to the Heat there in five games in 2012.

Golden State, meanwhile, is looking to stave off elimination for the second straight game in order to force a do-or-die situation back in Oakland on Monday.

The Thunder dropped Game 5 on Thursday to clip its series edge to 3-2.

Oklahoma City took Game 1 of this series, while Golden State bounced back with a win in Game 2. The Thunder then took complete control the last time they played in their own building, winning Games 3 and 4 before the Warriors kept their season alive with a 120-111 triumph in Game 5.

Two-time MVP Stephen Curry, who was unanimously given the award this season, put up a game-high 31 points for a Warriors team that finds itself on the brink of elimination despite winning an NBA-record 73 games in the regular season. Curry also had five steals, while Klay Thompson notched 27 points and Andrew Bogut put up 15.

Curry and the Warriors held down their home court, but now they play in Oklahoma City, where they dropped Games 3 and 4.

"We just did what we're supposed to do. We're supposed to win at home," Curry said after Game 5 via NBA.com. "We know what we still have to do going forward. ... We knew if we didn't win we were going home. There's no other motivation you need."

Kevin Durant dropped 40 points in the loss for the Thunder, while Russell Westbrook added 31. Westbrook also had eight assists and five steals as Steven Adams netted 10 rebounds.

This time around, the Thunder hope to take advantage of their opportunities and put away the defending NBA champions.

"We didn't shoot a particularly good percentage when we got into the lane and got into the deep paint," Thunder coach Billy Donovan said after Game 5 per NBA.com. "We had our opportunities."
